Fun quizzes

Hey, class! I just took a quiz called "Which type of shoe are you?" and my result was a flip flop. I guess I like flip flops in the summer, but I prefer shoes that are good for walking, like sneakers. But my results also said that I like comfort and simplicity, which is true. Also, the quiz gives you many choices, which I like. Still, I'm just not that crazy about flip flops or the beach ;).

Does this quiz sound interesting? Try it out at Quizopolis. They have TONS of quizzes!

Tomorrow we will take some real quizzes in the classroom and some fun quizzes in the computer lab. You can take a quiz at Quizopolis (www.quizopolis.com) or just google "fun quiz" to find more websites. Then comment on this post to tell us about your quiz. Make sure you mention...

  • the website
  • the name of the quiz
  • the result
  • if the result is correct
  • what you liked or didn't like about the quiz
  • YOUR NAME

Important Information on Grades

In case you weren't in class last week or lost your notebook, here are the exam dates and percentages.

  • October 9: oral midterm (20%)
  • November 27: final written exam (20%)
  • December 11: final oral exam (25%)
  • Continuous Oral Assessment (class participation): 35%
Notice that the oral sections have the highest percentages--that's because speaking is very important. Reading, writing, and understanding English is great--unless you can't communicate with people on the street :).
